Hobbies

Today is day 5 in #mymarchdaily personal blog post challenge! And the subject is hobbies.

I actually don’t have many hobbies, in fact, I can count the ones I have on 2 fingers! πŸ˜‚

1. Cross stitch. This has been a huge part of my life for several years now, it’s my therapy and way of switching off from the stresses of life! I’ve been really lucky to be a model stitcher for 3 magazines since September 2017; Cross stitch gold, World of cross stitching and cross stitch crazy. It’s amazing to have such an amazing opportunity and to also stitch with a purpose! I’ve seen lots of very exciting things before anyone else gets to and my stitching is the guide for others to complete the work!

Below is my completed dragon stitching in the magazine and my personal photo of the finished dragon before I returned it!

I will hopefully do a post of more of my finished pieces in the future!

2. My newest hobby is running. It’s hard work and I’m not fast but I enjoy it (around 50% of the time! πŸ˜‚) I want to get fit and I want to be able to keep up with Logan so hoping this will help me achieve it! I’ve been working hard to lose weight and I’ve lost 2 stone now since Jan 2019! So getting fit is my next step. I’m not fast, I can’t go far, but with the help of couch to 5k I believe I will improve!

I also have the usual hobbies, listening to music, watching TV series, spending time with friends and family, and of course going on lots of adventures with my baby boy!
